Chops and chops and chops and chops.
I stare at my hands and feet. They stare back at me. We are dumbfounded.
Filth. Absolute filth.

Not So Random Start: O’ Brother, “Poison!”
If you’ve been reading this blog for a decent amount of time, or follow me on twitter, you’ve probably heard me sing O’ Brother’s praises several times. Sure, I’m a bit biased after just spending six weeks on the road with them, but I can honestly say that they’re my favorite band at the moment. Their new record Garden Window is now available in digital form and I urge you to pick up a copy ASAP. It’s incredible; dynamic, diverse, percussive, delicate, atmospheric, crushingly heavy all wrapped neatly into an eleven song LP. It’s a lock for my 10 Favorite Records of 2011, and “Poison!” might very well be my favorite song of the year. I saw them play it ~35 times over the past six weeks and it never failed to give me chills and make my eyes well up.
And if all that praise for the record isn’t enough, the guys in the band are some of the most kind-hearted, humble, talented, passionate and driven people I’ve ever had the pleasure of touring with.
Buy Garden Window here. Do it now.
Can’t wait to get my hands on this album, waiting for the vinyl preorder to go up.
